US And Greece Announce $4 Billion In Foreign Military Sales And Cite Stryker Vehicles For Greece
After the sixth U.S.-Greece Strategic Dialogue, the two governments announced $4 billion in Foreign Military Sales, a Florida National Guard partnership and Stryker vehicles for Greece, alongside economic and cultural agreements.

The United States and Greece announced $4 billion in Foreign Military Sales to support Greece's long-term defense plan, according to a joint statement released by the US Department of State. The announcement came after the sixth round of the U.S.-Greece Strategic Dialogue on Oct. 7, 2026.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis presided over the talks. The statement said the sales are meant to deepen interoperability between the two countries and to explore future opportunities for cooperation between their defense industrial bases, including on innovative technologies.
The two sides also finalized Greece's participation in the U.S. National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program, in which Greece is paired with Florida. The statement said interoperability was further enhanced through the provision of Stryker vehicles to Greece. It gave no numbers, variants or timelines for the vehicles.
Both governments reaffirmed the strategic value of their defense cooperation for bilateral and NATO security objectives, and described Greece as an active NATO ally. They also said they expanded law enforcement and counterterrorism cooperation and renewed their commitment to address illegal migration.
