Boeing Wins $14.7 Billion Lockheed Martin Contract Action To Triple PAC-3 MSE Seeker Production
Boeing received an undefinitized contract action worth about $14.7 billion from Lockheed Martin to scale up PAC-3 MSE seeker output under a seven-year framework agreement with the U.S. Department of War.

Boeing was awarded an undefinitized contract action worth approximately $14.7 billion by Lockheed Martin to scale production and deliver PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement seekers.
According to Boeing, the award allows the company to triple its PAC-3 MSE seeker production. It falls under a seven-year framework agreement with the U.S. Department of War that was announced previously. Boeing said the agreement supports the department's Acquisition Transformation Strategy and the effort to strengthen the nation's Arsenal of Freedom.
The company said its seekers allow Patriot interceptors to identify, track and engage advanced threats. This modification of PAC-3 is able to destroy hostile aircraft as well as different types of missiles, including hypersonic and ballistic.
Steve Parker, president and CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, said early investment and a strong focus on quality and execution have put the company in a position to deliver seekers at unprecedented levels in the near term.
