Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has codified the Blade interceptor drone developed by the Ukrainian company Phantom Defense. The company told Militarnyi about this. Codification brings closer the start of the procurement process for these drones for the needs of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

According to the company, the Blade has a maximum speed of 310 km/h. The new drone has a range of up to 30 km, and its payload weighs up to 0.5 kg.

The drone has a compact vertical layout. Its fuselage ends in a pointed, streamlined nose that reduces aerodynamic drag. In the middle part of the fuselage there are two short stabilizer wings, which provide lift and keep the aircraft stable during horizontal flight.

The drone's propulsion system consists of four electric motors with propellers. The UAV also has a vertical takeoff and landing system, which allows it to be used without the need for specially equipped runways.

Phantom Defense noted that codification opens the way to scaling up interceptor production. The manufacturer also said that the Blade will soon appear on the Brave1 Market platform.
